  13.      Well, I just purchased a used A1200 from CopperHead Tech., and I have a
  14.      few questions...(I wasn't sure about where to post this, so if this is 
  15.      the wrong place I apologize) Anyways, I installed a Seagate 200 meg 2.5
  16.      inch IDE drive in it and used the Install disk...I divided the drive up
  17.      into 4 partitions-then formatted them-everything went fine until the 4th
  18.      partition. It formatted a little over 756f the way through then gave me
  19.      the "could not find HD3: device" error message...I tried twice more but
  20.      only got the same message...I then tried "quick" formatting it-and it 
  21.      worked fine then...Do I have a problem here?

  23.      Also, I found a little program called ARQ on one of Amiga Formats cover
  24.      disks...(it adds really neat animated requestors) You can get it to run
  25.      by double-clicking on it, which brings up the one-line shell and hitting
  26.      return. It says in the docs that you can run it automatically, but how?
  27.      I tried putting it in the WBStartup drawer-no go. I tried creating a 
  28.      user-startup file to run it, but that wouldn't work either...I tried
  29.

  32.      execute arq
  33.      s:run arq
  34.      s:execute arq

  36.      but everytime it does run but with an output window that "hangs" and it
  37.      won't continue on with the rest of the boot process..

  39.      And finally, about assigns...I put BattleChess on my HD3: partition. What
  40.      kind of an assign would I have to make to get it to run from there and 
  41.      not look to df0: ??

  43.      A huge thanks in advance to anyone who can help me! I'm afraid I'm used
  44.      to using Atari TOS version 4.04 and it is pretty easy...I really like
  45.      the Amiga-I'm just gonna have to get used to it-and a little help! :)
